Italian pasta with vegan meat

Ingredients

– 120 g Miss Susta vegan meat
– 40 g vegetable oil
– 240 ml ice-cold water
– 400 g penne (or other pasta)
– 1 yellow pepper
– 1 large onion
– 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
– 400 g drained tomatoes
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tsp spicy paprika powder
– 1 ½ tsp oregano
– 1 tbsp fresh parsley
– 2 tbsp fresh basil
– Olive oil
– Grated cheese to taste. Parmesan, old or mature

Preparation Method

– Mix the Miss Susta vegan meat mix with the oil and ice-cold water to an even mass.
– Cut onion and bell pepper, and add chopped garlic.
– Sear Vegan Minced Meat in a little olive oil in a fry pan. Add the onion, garlic and bell pepper and season with the herbs.
– Cook Penne according to the instructions on the packet.
– Chop fresh basil leaves and parsley and add to the dish. Keep a few basil leaves to decorate the dish.
– Stir the sauce and pasta together and decorate with the last basil leaves.
– Serve the grated cheese.
Delicious with a fresh salad.
